Amy Tyrrell, Chef and owner of Morsels as You Wish, opened her full service culinary firm in the spring of 2011. Prior to opening the business, Chef Amy spent several decades climbing the corporate ladder within Fortune 500 firms, dreaming of a culinary career - ever mindful of the material needs being met by her corporate position. While successful in the corporate world, Amy's passion for all things culinary would repeatedly lead her back to the kitchen.
Passionate about the role food plays in nurturing the human body and soul, Chef Amy focused on the pursuit of culinary training at such acclaimed institutions as The Culinary Institute of America, Let's Get Cookin’ located in Westlake Village, CA and a variety of local cooking classes led by Executive Chefs and restaurateurs. Always eager to further her culinary education, Chef Amy has recently completed a Pro-Culinary Program at the Academy of Culinary Education in Woodland Hills CA.
Eager to apply what she had learned over the years, Chef Amy began catering events of all types and sizes, receiving consistent praise for the exceptional flavors found in her food. The feedback was often accompanied by requests to teach others how to perform the same magic in their own kitchens, ultimately blossoming into the core of Chef Amy’s business - teaching private cooking lessons to eager learners.
